STEP 1:
Choose the recording source
|

Click
Webcam Source and
select
AV Webcam Capture. This way, you point out that the
Video Source to be used is the nickface of AV WCM. |

Go to My webcam window
in your
Yahoo! video chat, click File
and select Preferences |

Preferences panel will comes up. Click the
Camera Source (1)
button and choose AV Webcam Capture (2)
as your webcam source
If you want to record your real
face, select your webcam, e.g. Logitech QuickCam Express instead of
AV Webcam Capture.

STEP 2:
Open the Recorder and Recorder settings
|
|
Click the
Recorder button
(1) to open the Recorder

Click on
the Settings menu
(3) to open the Recorder settings
The first tab, Base folder,
template (4),
allows you to
define where to store your movie.
You can click
on the Browse
button (5) and
point to any location on your PC that you want the the
file saved in.

Click the Encoders Tab (6).
Click (7) to choose the video
codec. Intel
IYUV codec is strongly recommended for the best video
quality and smallest file size.
Check Record audio stream in order to record both video and audio streams.
Click (9) to select the audio codec. PCM codec may best serve your audio recording.
Click OK to apply your
settings.

STEP 3:
Start recording manually and Autostart
|
|
Click
the Rec button to
start the recording process. Click Pause and Stop to pause and stop your recording.
If you would like to
preview your recording,
click on the recorded file name and press Play.
The movie will be viewed in the most suitable player.

Let Webcam Morpher
automatically record your webcam video by using the
Autostart function.
On the Recorder Settings panel, click the Autostart tab (11). Check box (12) and choose Autostart for custom applications (13).
Click Add (14) to add more programs
to the Autostart list.
You can disable a program temporarily
from Autostart by unchecking the box before it (15) or permanently
remove it by clicking Remove (14).
