AV Voice Changer Software new version has a virtual audio driver (VCS VAD) which can work as a real audio driver. The device is detected by all VoIP applications, and instant messenger with voice applications as another option of audio device. By setting VCS VAD as the active audio driver for those applications, AV Voice Changer Software will automatically capture and process audio and voice for voice calls or voice communication (voice chat).

In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to use Voice Changer Software 7.0 for voice chat with AIM, one of the most popular instant messenger applications being used today.

With other voice chat applications, apply the same process to set VCS as your main voice changing module.

About AIM:
AIM
, which is an abbreviation of AOL Instant Messenger, is an instant messaging and presence computer program which uses the proprietary OSCAR instant messaging protocol and the TOC protocol to allow registered users to communicate in real time. It was released by AOL in May 1997. Stand-alone official AIM client software includes advertisements and is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Mac OS X, and Linux. The software, maintained by AOL, LLC, has a large share of the instant messaging market, especially in the United States (with 52% of the total reported as of 2006). For more information, visit AIM official website here.

Step 3: Prepare the voice with VCS7

Return to VCS7, choose the morphing effects for your voice, and make adjustments until you are satisfied with the output voice.

Note: You should have known how to change voice using Voice Morpher feature, and other voice changing features of VCS.

STEP 4: Start voice conversation via AIM with the changed voice

You now can do voice chat with AIM. The morphing settings for your voice will be applied automatically.

Note: While VCS Virtual Audio Driver is being set as the audio driver for AIM, do NOT turn off VCS7 when doing voice chat via AIM. If you don’t want to use VCS7, change the audio settings of AIM back to normal audio source.
