STEP 2: Do not let VCS morph the song(s)

First of all, set VCS to non-morph or the voice of the song will be changed accordingly.

To do this, go to Nickvoices (1) menu, and select None (2)

All your recordings will be recorded as non-morph.

Click on the Recorder button (3) to open VCS Redorder.

Select the Base folder, template tab (1).

- Click Browse (2) to choose the folder where your records will be saved.

- Choose a name template from the Name Template dropdown box (3). It's helpful in recognizing the file type if the full information appears in the file's name. The meaning of each variable is explained in the table (5).

- Click OK (4) to apply the new settings.

Choose an output format:

- Go to Encoders Tab (1)

- Check the Advanced mode check box (2)

- Depending on the quality of the Playing Stream, double click on a suitable Stream (3) and select the type of output format.

In this tutorial, we choose the 44100, Stereo for the Encoder (4) because the song that I intend to record is already at a quality of 44100, Stereo.

- Click OK (5) to apply the new settings.

STEP 4: Start Recording and Test

Return to the Recorder window, if the new task in the recording task pane (1) is in the name template and in the file type you have set in the previous step, for example in this case it looks like (1), click on the Record button (2) to start recording. If not, redo the 2nd step again.

Click Stop (3) to finish your recording.
