Record a song from a Media Player

This
tutorial will show you how to record a song with Voice
Changer Software while keeping the song(s) playing with
Windows Media Player. Whether the song is retrieving
from an URL or from your hard disc, or whatever format it is,
the song will be recorded and saved in the
format of your choice.
You'll be surprised with its quality! |

Notes:

This tutorial is applicable for all editions of
Voice Changer Software.

This tutorial was illustrated using Voice Changer
Software Diamond in Diamond skin.

STEP 3:
Customize VCS (Diamond) Recorder Settings
|

Click on the Settings button
(1) on the Recorder window to go to the VCS

Select
the Base folder, template tab
(1).
- Click Browse
(2) to choose the folder where your
records will be saved.
- Choose a name template from the Name Template dropdown box
(3). It's helpful in recognizing the file type if the full
information appears in the file's name. The
meaning of each variable is explained in the
table (5).
- Click OK (4)
to apply the new settings.

Choose an output format:

Go to Encoders Tab

Check the Advanced mode check box
(2)

Depending on the
quality of the Playing Stream, double click
on a suitable Stream
(3) and select the
type of output format.
In this tutorial, we choose the
44100, Stereo for the Encoder
(4) because the song that I
intend to record is already at a
quality of 44100, Stereo.
- Click OK
(5) to apply the new settings.

STEP 4:
Start Recording and Test
|
|
Return to the Recorder window,
if the new task in the recording task pane
(1) is in the name template and in the
file type you have set in the previous step, for example in this case it looks like
(1), click on the Record button (2) to start
recording. If not, redo the 2nd step again.
Click
Stop
(3) to finish your recording.
