| STEP 1:Open your movie
|
|
• Click on Video tab or DVD tab on the module bar.
• To open a file, click File on the menu bar and choose Open. Open dialog box will come up; select a video file you want to open.
• You can also use Open button on the Player bar to add a video file into the play list (if you are in video mode), or open a DVD (if you are in DVD mode).

STEP 2:
Adjusting the settings for frames and audio captures |

Right-click on the video screen
where the movie is being played. In the context menu
choose Settings. A dialog box will
come up.
At
Frame Capture tab you can adjust the
following settings

By ticking/unticking the Use Auto Names checkbox (1), you can choose whether to use auto names or not.
• Click on Browse button (2) and a Browse for Folder dialog box will appear. Select the folder in which you want to save the video file.
• The Explore button will quickly lead you to the folder storing the captured audio files.
• The Format combo box (3) allows you to select one of the listed formats for future captured audio files.

• The Setup button (4) will lead you to the Codec’s Settings dialog box with three main combo boxes on it: Provider’s Name; Sample Rate and Codec. From the drop down lists you can choose the desirable bit rate or codec. Usually, the 44100 Hz (stereo) bit rate is recommended.

STEP 3: Capturing
|
|
• To capture a frame, click on the Capture Frame button on the Player bar or you can right click on the screen and in the context menu choose Capture > Frame.
• To capture a series of frames, click on the Capture Series button on the Player bar or you can right click on the screen and in the context menu choose Capture > Series. To stop capturing click on the button again.
• To capture audio, click on the Capture Audio button on the Player bar or you can right click on the screen and in the context menu choose Capture > Audio. To stop capturing, click on the button again. |
Note: Right-click on the screen and in the context menu choose Capture > Browse, a folder with captured files will open. Or else you can click File on the menu bar and choose View Audio or View Pictures. Check it out!
